چکیده

IgG2 heavy chain deposition disease (HCDD) is extremely rare. To date, only 4 cases have been reported in medical literature. To our knowledge, we report the first case of IgG2 HCDD accompanied by kappa plasma cell dyscrasia.

kappa/lambda index for confirming urinary free light chain in amyloidosis AL and other plasma cell dyscrasias.

Primary systemic amyloidosis (AL), a disease involving the deposition of immunoglobulin light chains in tissue, is caused by a plasma cell dyscrasia. In the case of amyloidosis reported here, no monoclonal component was seen upon routine protein electrophoresis of serum or urine nor was a bone marrow analysis positive for AL. Immunofixation electrophoresis did not show a typical paraprotein ban...

Fibrillary glomerulopathy secondary to light chain deposition disease in a patient with monoclonal gammopathy.

The pathologic manifestations of renal diseases related to monoclonal plasma cell dyscrasia include light chain deposition disease, the AL type of amyloidosis, and myeloma cast nephropathy. Light chain deposit disease (LCDD) is an uncommon condition in which monoclonal light chains are deposited in the glomeruli, tubules, and vessels causing varying degree of damage. We report a case of LCDD co...

Light chain deposition disease presenting with hepatomegaly: an association with amyloid-like fibrils.

We report an unusual case of lambda light chain deposits without overt plasma cell dyscrasia. The clinical presentation was hepatomegaly without biochemical sign of renal involvement. Portal hypertension, spontaneous rupture of the spleen and fracture of the 12th thoracic vertebra occurred during the course of the disease. Ultrastructural studies showed that lambda light chain deposits were ass...

Indolent systemic mastocytosis associated with light chain deposition disease

Systemic mastocytosis (SM) is characterized by infiltration of neoplastic mast cells in one or more organ systems. SM in association with plasma cell dyscrasia is very rare. We report a first case of indolent SM (ISM) associated with light chain deposition disease (LCDD) in a kidney biopsy from a 59-year-old female presenting with skin rash, elevated serum creatinine, hematuria and mild protein...
